Overall aim of this chapter: to give the reader (mainly TPDs and clinical supervisors) an idea of what clinical supervision is all about and why it is important. How it differes from educational supervision. Need to mention the key ingredients of an effective clinical supervision programme and an idea of how to put all of this into practise (give tips).
